Magellan Health Services to acquire 65% in AlphaCare of New York

Circle Connections: Mergers & Acquisitions Health care company Magellan Health Services Inc. reported the launch of a definitive agreement for strategic investment in AlphaCare of New York. Upon completion of the transaction, Magellan will own 65% of AlphaCare of New York. AlphaCare of New York has acquired the requisite licensure and contracts in New York State, including an HMO license as well as a managed long term care contract with the state.
