Cigna Acquires Alegis Care

Circle Connections: Mergers & Acquisitions Cigna Corp. completed its acquisition of Alegis Care. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Alegis Care, which was part of Triton Pacific Capital Partners, is a multi-specialty, health services company based in Chicago that specializes in homebound and chronically ill Medicare and Medicaid patients. Prior to the acquisition, Alegis provide services to Cigna members through its Cigna-HealthSpring division that provides health coverage for senior adults.
