Massachusetts’ Bridgewell And Project COPE To Merge

Circle Connections: Mergers & Acquisitions Bridgewell is pleased to announce that we will be merging with Project COPE. Project COPE, a Lynn-based non-profit, provides substance abuse treatment and other services to the Lynn-area community. The two organizations have had a management agreement since May 2013. Upon final board approval and all party consents, the final merger is planned for January 2014. Given the economic pressures of the last several years, including cutbacks in state and federal funding, it has become increasingly difficult for small, independent non-profits like Project COPE to maintain current levels of client services . . .
