Michael Kozar named Northwest Florida Community Hospital CEO

The Board of Directors of Northwest Florida Healthcare, Inc. (NFHI) has named Michael A. Kozar Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Florida Community Hospital (NFCH) in Chipley, FL, effective January 1. He succeeds Janet Kinney, who has served as interim CEO since April 2015. Janet will be staying on with the hospital as Chief Operating Officer.

Kozar brings to his new role more than 25 years of health care leadership experience in acute care, acute rehabilitation, long-term care, home health care, hospice and physician practice management. He joins NFCH from Carroll County Memorial Hospital, a Critical Access Hospital in Carrollton . . .
