On November 16, 2015, the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced a $32 million funding opportunity to support efforts to reduce the child uninsured rate via outreach to families with children eligible for Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
