Macomb-Oakland Regional Center Names COO Dennis Bott As Next Executive Director

Macomb-Oakland Regional Center Inc., one of the region’s largest human services agencies, has named COO Dennis Bott as its next executive director, effective in March. He will succeed Gerald Provencal, 75, who is retiring after leading the Clinton Township-based mental health agency for 37 years. Bott, who has been with the agency since 1976, worked directly on early community placement initiatives and on the closure of many of the state’s largest institutions for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
