National Background Check Program For Long Term Care Employees: Interim Report

The report was released on January 21, 2016 by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The OIG reviewed interim results of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) National Background Check Program that launched in September 30, 2010. For the report, the OIG reviewed data submitted by the 25 participating states from program inception through September 30, 2014.
