California Medicaid Behavioral Health Treatment Transition Plan Rollout Schedule
In this document released on February 1, 2016, the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) presented its six-month timeline for transitioning Medicaid behavioral health treatment (BHT) services (including applied behavior analysis) for beneficiaries diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) from the Regional Centers to Medicaid managed care plans or to the Medicaid fee-for-service system.
