The Cumberland County, Pennsylvania government is seeking proposals to privatize auxiliary services at the 209-bed county-run Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The invitation to bid (ITB) released on February 1, 2016 is focused on ClaremontÂ’s food, housekeeping, and laundry departments. Currently the county contracts with Sodexo to manage the services, which are delivered by county employees. The goal of privatizing the auxiliary services is to allow the county to focus its resources on maintaining high quality clinical services at the Claremont facility.
