Minnesota DHS RFP For A Qualified Grantee To Provide Coordinated Health Care Services Through The Special Needs BasicCare Program To Adults With Disabilities Eligible For Medical Assistance

On February 8, 2016, the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) released a request for proposals (RFP) for the Special Needs BasicCare (SNBC) Program, which provides managed care services for adult Medicaid beneficiaries with disabilities. The state seeks to expand access to SNBC Medicaid-only plans in 62 counties, and seeks to expand the number that are integrated Medicare Advantage dual eligible special needs plans (D-SNPs). RFP responses are due by March 29, 2016, and contracts will be awarded by April 22, 2016, with contracts for 30 northern counties going live on July 1, 2016, and the remaining 32 . . .
