The fact sheet was released on March 7, 2016 when "The Opportunity Project" launched. The fact sheet presents an overview of the project. The Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development released a package of federal and local data sets in an easy-to-use format. The data can be used by civic leaders, community organizations, and families.
