California’s Shasta County RFP 16-16 Seeks Community Mental Health Resource Center Services

The Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) is preparing to implement a pilot of assisted outpatient treatment for adults with untreated serious mental illness. The pilot is slated to begin in July 2016; the county estimates that 40 people could be served. In preparation, the county released a request for proposals (RFP 16-16) on March 18, 2016, seeking a contractor to operate a pre-crisis community mental health resource center that will serve people referred to assisted outpatient treatment; the center will also provide mental health services for youth in foster care and current and potential parents . . .
