On April 25, 2016, the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the final rules for Medicaid managed care plans – Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Programs; Medicaid Managed Care, CHIP Delivered in Managed Care, and Revisions Related to Third Party Liability: RIN 0938-AS25: 42 CFR Parts 431, 433, 438, 440, 457 and 495.
