Serafine v. Texas State Board Of Examiners Of Psychologists

On January 12, 2016, Dr. Mary Louise Serafine filed this complaint against the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists regarding her title of "psychologist" on her campaign website for the Texas Senate in 2010. Serafine's complaint was in response to the Board's order for her to stop using the title of "psychologist" and desist from offering or providing psychological services. Serafine contended that removing the title was an infringement on her political speech, commercial speech, equal protection rights, and right to earn a living . . .
