Promise Healthcare Appoints New Chief Medical Officer

Boca Raton-based Promise Healthcare, operator of 20 long-term acute-care hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in eight states, has appointed Dr. Charles Posternack as chief medical officer. Posternack will oversee all of the company's facilities, according to a news release. He was previously chief medical officer at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and is an associate dean at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. In his new role, Posternack will be responsible for establishing best practices "to maximize high quality clinical outcomes and patient safety measures."
