On June 23, 2016, a group of nine behavioral health provider organizations in New Mexico sued OptumHealth New Mexico, the state's former public behavioral health managed care organization. The plaintiffs allege that OptumHealth New Mexico fabricated allegations of Medicaid fraud against them, and in doing so, broke several state laws. The plaintiffs seek award of actual damages and punitive damages, plus attorneys fees. No hearing date has been announced . . .
