New Aetna Network Combines Duke, Wakemed Providers

Aetna established a valued-based accountable care organization with Durham, N.C.-based Duke Health and Raleigh, N.C.-based WakeMed Health & Hospitals. The resulting product is to be called Aetna Whole Health-Duke Health & WakeMed. This includes WakeMed Key Community Care's 370 primary care providers and 750 specialty care providers. WakeMed Key Community Care is an ACO that includes WakeMed Health & Hospitals, WakeMed Physician Practices and Key Physicians. Duke Health includes 2,131 providers.
