Rhode Island Medicaid Hearing Notice For State Plan Amendment To Move Opioid Treatment Programs Health Home To Managed Care

On June 29, 2016, the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services released this proposed amendment to their Medicaid state plan regarding health homes. The amendment proposes the following changes, effective July 1, 2016: bring Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP) Health Home services into managed care; increase OTP Health Home rates for RIte Care members, decrease OTP Health Home rates for non-RIte Care members, and create Centers of Excellence at OTP Health Homes . . .
