Pennsylvania Autism Behavior Specialist – DRAFT Preamble Proposed Regulations
July 2, 2009 The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, Pennsylvania Insurance Department, and the Pennsylvania Department of State proposed draft regulations to amend medical licensing statutes so that behavior specialists can be certified. The state's mandate that health plans cover autism treatment included a provision to license behavior specialists.
