VA Health Care: Preliminary Findings on VA’s Provision of Health Care Services to Women Veterans
July 14, 2009 The number of women veterans seeking health care from VA facilities has been increasing over the years, specifically between 2006 and 2008 with a twelve percent increase. It is expected that this number will grow by seventeen more percent by 2033. Even though the women veterans have the right to go to VA facilities for health services, these facilities do not have the necessary nor a plethora of equipment for women.
