New York State Office For People With Developmental Disabilities Second Early Alert Warning Notice To Federation Of Multicultural Programs

On April 25, 2012, the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) sent this letter to the Federation of Multicultural Programs (FMCP) to notify the organization that it was on “early alert status” due to concerns related to agency internal controls as well as significant compliance issues at one of the intermediate care facilities (ICF) operated by the agency. In the letter, OPWDD noted its concerns about the compliance issues, and about FMCP's lack of compliance to correct the problems.
