New York OPWDD: Report To The Legislature About The Residential Request List

This report was released on February 19, 2016, by the New York Office for Persons With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). The report was issued to the legislature. It presents the details about OPWDD's  Residential Request List, which is a waiting list for adults served by OPWDD who have requested community housing and supportive services. At that time about 11,000 people were on the Residential Request List waiting for a housing offer. Half of people on the list currently live with a family caregiver who is age 50 or older . . .
