Nebraska Department Of Health & Human Services Child Welfare Caseload Report, State Fiscal Year 2014-2015

On September 18, 2015, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) released data about child welfare caseloads during state fiscal year 2014-2015. In 2012, the legislature set maximum caseload standards. Since then, DHHS is required to report its annual compliance rate. The maximum caseloads are set at no more than 16 out-of-home cases per worker, no more than 17 in-home cases per worker, and no more than 12 initial intake assessments per worker.
