Maryland Medicaid Pharmacy Program Advisory 165: Zubsolv Preferred & Suboxone Film Non-Preferred

On June 1, 2016, the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’ released this notice on changes to the Medicaid program's drug formulary. Zubsolv sublingual tablets will become preferred on the preferred drug list, whereas the Suboxone® Film will become non-preferred. This will result in denial of prescriptions for Suboxone® Film and require a prior authorization by the prescriber . . .
