New Youth Justice Institute To Improve Criminal Justice System Services For Children, Teens & Young Adults
On November 17, 2016 New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced the creation of the Youth Justice Institute as a way to improve services for children, teens, and young adults in the state’s criminal justice system . A partnership between New York state and the University at Albany, the institute's goal is to better train public and private youth service providers in the outcome-improving best practices and programs for at-risk youth.
