California Health Care Quality Report Cards 2016-2017: Preferred Provider Organizations Rankings For Evidence-Based Behavioral Health Treatment
In October 2016, the California Office of the Patient Advocate (OPA) released this document which is a subsection of a larger health care "report" card ranking 10 large California health maintenance organizations (HMOs), five large preferred provider organizations (PPOs), and 205 physician medical groups on quality of care. The report cards are based on national health care quality measures. The behavioral health rankings are based on six measures for ensuring timely behavioral health treatments with proven effectiveness.
