August 13, 2009 On August 9, 2012, King County Department of Community and Health Services released a request for proposals (RFP) for crisis diversion services. The August 2009 RFP said the three services requested together would be funded at $6 million annually for a one-year contract with up to five one-year extension periods. The services requested were stabilization and observation for up to 72 hours, housing and services for up to two weeks, and a Mobile Crisis Team to serve from 3,000 to 5,000 individuals.
