Delaware Department Of Health & Social Services Receives Funds For Alzheimer’s Music & Memory Program
The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services’ Division of Long Term Care Residents Protection (DLTCRP) has received funds from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to offer the Music & Memory Program to nursing home residents with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. The program trains health care professionals how to select personalized music for dementia residents as a way to tap memories and re-awaken physical and mental functions.
