Kentucky Medicaid Services Names New Medical Director

Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Department of Medicaid Services has chosen a medical school faculty member as their new medical director. Dr. Gil Liu is a Louisville pediatrician and University of Louisville School of Medicine faculty member. As the new director, Dr. Liu will oversee and direct clinical decisions to improve service delivery.

Kentucky Medicaid Services provides health coverage for more than one million Kentucky residents.
