National Juvenile Justice Prosecution Center – Juvenile Prosecution Policy Positions & Guidelines

On July 5, 2016, the National Juvenile Justice Prosecution Center released this document of policy and guidelines of juvenile prosecution. The document contains provisions of the National District Attorneys Association's national prosecution standards addressing juvenile justice and related issues, and was approved by the NDAA board on November 12, 2016. These policy positions were developed to strengthen and support the work of juvenile prosecution by recognizing juvenile prosecution as a specialized practice with a goal of producing better outcomes for youth and communities . . .
