The agency seeks to implement and maintain standards-based, uniform, single database for behavioral health electronic records data collection, billing, utilization management, and reporting. The current system DHS uses is unable to prepare adequate and timely management reports for decision making; it lacks integration among clinical and financial data systems; and has no integration with other stakeholder systems.
