45 ACOs Selected For Next Generation ACO Model

On January 18, 2017, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services awarded contracts to an additional 17 accountable care organizations (ACOs) to participate in the Next Generation ACO model. This brings the total participating ACOs to 45, up from 28 in late 2016. The goal of the Next Generation ACO Model is to provide financial incentives to provider organizations to improve care while reducing costs for Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries.

The Next Generation participants are:
