New Kind Clinic In Austin, Texas Offers Free Services For The Transgender, Gender Nonconforming & Nonbinary Community

Texas Health Action has opened the Kind Clinic in Austin, Texas providing free services for people who are transgender, gender nonconforming, or nonbinary. The goal of Kind Clinic is to offer a place where people, especially those with low-incomes, can feel comfortable seeking medical services from a competent and knowledgeable staff.

Services available at Kind Clinic include hormone therapy, which is difficult to obtain outside the black market for low-income consumers who cannot afford traditional care, sexually transmitted infection diagnosis and treatment, HIV testing, general wellness exams, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) access, and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) access . . .
