Akron Children’s Hospital Names New Vice President & Chief Information Officer

Akron Children’s Hospital has announced Harun Rashid as their new vice president and chief information officer.

Mr. Rashid was previously vice president for international services and vice president for tele-health services for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC); chief information officer at UPMC's Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, the Magee Women's Hospital, and the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic; and leadership positions with Phoenix Health System in Richardson, Texas; Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and Gateway Health System, in Clarksville, Tennessee.
