Mental Health America Creates National Certified Peer Specialist Credential
Mental Health America (MHA) has announced the creation of the MHA National Certified Peer Specialist (NCPS) credential. The certification allows those who share the experience of living with a psychiatric disorder and/or substance abuse disorder show they have the highest levels of knowledge and experience to create new opportunities in public and private settings, allowing them to work along health care teams to create career paths and opportunities for peer supporters.
