Boulder Community Health Foundation Launches $2 Million Funding Drive For Behavioral Health
In an effort to curtail rising suicide rates and other behavioral health issues, Boulder County is establishing a $2 million behavioral health endowment to increase resident access to care. Fundraising began on May 6, and the County's goal for raising the entire amount is 2018. Funds will be directed towards four "barriers of care" identified by health care providers in the community: treatment, transitions, health & wellness, and education.
