H.R.4352 – Faster Care For Veterans Act Of 2016

On December 16, 2016, Congress passed the bill, Faster Care For Veterans Act Of 2016 (H.R.4352). H.R.4352 directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to carry out a pilot program establishing a patient self-scheduling appointment system. The Act prompted a request for proposals to provide a mobile medical appointment self-scheduling application. Once proposals were received and considered, the VA awarded the contract to Document Storage Systems, Inc. (DSS).
