Amerigroup Washington has recently released an app-based medical solution for consumers who are living with mental illness. This endeavor comes out of a recent partnership between Amerigroup and mobile health vendor myStrength, and seeks to help counter the statistic that the majority of people living with a mental illness reportedly do not seek treatment.

The myStrength app utilizes both evidence-based psychotherapy along with various self-care techniques - such as wellness assessment, mood tracking, and motivational videos - to provide users expanded access to care.
