Medicare Halts Release Of Much-Anticipated Medicare Advantage Plan Data
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have halted the release of much-anticipated Medicare Advantage plan data. The data would have included information on patient diagnoses, services, and treatment under Medicare Advantage plans, and has been used by CMS since 2012 to help calculate payments made to the private insurers that run such plans.
