On October 19, 2016, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) released this report on the audits of eight Medicaid home- and community-based services (HCBS) waivers operated by four states. The OIG summarized its audit methodology and key audit finding that the four states had claimed unallowable and unsupported Medicaid reimbursements under the HCBS waivers.
