Mercy Health Names Interim CEO

As of July 24, Mercy Medical Center (Mercy Health) has named Paul C. Hiltz, FACHE, as its interim CEO. Mercy Health's previous CEO, Thomas E. Cecconi, announced his retirement for the end of 2017, but will remain with the organization throughout the remainder of the year to ease the leadership transition.

Mr. Hiltz previously served as senior adviser for the Mercy Health System in Cincinnati. Prior to that, he served as president at Mercy Health Springfield Region and Network CEO of Community Mercy Health Partners.
