Mount Carmel Adding 80 Beds For Mental Health Treatment

Mount Carmel Health System and Acadia Healthcare announced that they will be working together to add an 80 bed inpatient behavioral health hospital in Columbus. The hospital will replace a 20 bed hospital at the Mount Carmel West hospital.

The Columbus area, which has a need for mental health beds, will now be able to serve more adults and geriatric consumers who are living with mental health issues or an addiction disorder.
