Centene To Open Health Clinic In Missouri Supermarket

Centene has announced that it will open a health clinic inside of a grocery store in Missouri. The new clinic, which Centene invested $1.3 million to start up, is expected to begin operation this November.

The new clinic will be low-acuity primary care and urgent care for adults and children, vaccination, diagnostic tests, a dental services mobile unit, and other services. With the clinic, Centene is joining a growing number of payers that are looking for additional revenue streams.
