Heartland Community Health Center & Health Care Access To Merge

Heartland Community Health Center (Heartland) and Health Care Access (HCA) recently reached a merger agreement. The merger, which is expected to happen in February 2018, will see HCA’s staff and assets acquired by Heartland.

According to a news release, the two non-profits anticipate achieving a more unified community health access point, as well as comprehensive and integrated services. Heartland’s CEO, will remain in his current position, while HCA’s CEO, Beth Llewellyn, will temporarily stay on board as an adviser to assist with the transition.
