Virginia DBHDS Comprehensive State Plan For 2016 -2022

This document was released on December 1, 2016, by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services (DBHDS). The state plan is linked to the state's stakeholder-driven, multi-year transformation team effort that launched in 2014 to address challenges to Virginia's system. Over a two-year period, the transformation teams developed 92 recommendations for system reform. Many of the recommendations from the transformation teams have been implemented, or implementation is underway.
