Anderson v. Lake, et al, & Oklahoma Department Of Human Services & Oklahoma Health Care Authority, Amended Complaint

On December 6, 2017, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Disability Law Center sued the state to protect funding for Medicaid waiver long-term services and supports. The complaint names the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA). It seeks to prevent the two agencies from implementing cuts due to a $215 million budget shortfall created after a funding mechanism implemented in the 2017 legislative session was invalidated by the courts in August.
