San Bernardino Hospital Expands Behavioral Health Unit With More Beds

Dignity Health’s Community Hospital of San Bernardino Hospital recently expanded its behavioral health unit by adding 25 additional beds. The opening of the expanded behavioral health services department occurred midway through December.

With the addition of the new beds, the department now hosts 74 beds, 15 voluntary and 59 locked. It is anticipated that the addition will not only help the hospital serve more consumers with behavioral health issues, but will also create more safety for both hospital patients and the local community.
