San Mateo County Health System Names New Director

San Mateo County Health System recently announced that David A. Young, PhD, MPH, has been appointed director of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) division. Young formerly served as Chief Clinical Officer for SageSurfer, a Fremont-based behavioral health technology company.

Young Succeeds Stephen Kaplan, who is retiring after four decades in the mental health and substance field, and after 12 years of service to the County.
