Golden Shore Medical Group, led by J. Mario Molina - a previous leadership member of Molina Healthcare - is now managing 17 of Molina’s California clinics. J. Mario Molina led Molina Healthcare in the stead of his father beginning in 1996, but was ousted from the company in May of 2017.

The 17 clinics, which serve about 120,000 patients, will be re-branded as Golden Shore facilities. According to statements from Golden Shore Medical Group, patient services will remain unchanged under the new name.
