CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Announces New Efforts To Combat Opioid Abuse & Addiction Disorder

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (CareFirst) recently announced it will be launching new efforts to combat opioid abuse and other addiction disorders within the areas that it serves. As part of the initiative, CareFirst will be dedicating $1.5 million toward funding of non-profit community organizations and programs that seek to address addiction disorder and opioid abuse.

New Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Program
